Cristiano Ronaldo had heart operation when he was a teen

Cristiano Ronaldo had a heart op when he was a teen, his mom Dolores Aveiro has revealed.

The Manchester United hunk was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat at the age of 15.

‘His heart raced a lot when he wasn’t running,’ Dolores tells The Sun. ‘They used a sort of laser to cauterize the source of the problem.

‘The treatment went well and after some days he was back at training again.

'Cristiano wasn’t very worried — he didn’t take the situation very seriously — but I got a big fright.

'It seems the treatment allowed him to run even faster!’

Meanwhile, Cristiano, now 23, is having a £6.1million mansion built in Santo Estevao, Portugal.
